Motorola Edge 60 Fusion set to launch on Flipkart
The Smartphone brand Motorola, owned by Lenovo from China, is preparing to unveil the Edge 60 Fusion in India on April 2, at 12 PM. The launch will take place on the online shopping site Flipkart. In advance of the launch, the company has disclosed essential features and specifications of the smart phone, including information about the chipset, display, camera, and more.
The forthcoming Edge 60 Fusion will be the first device in Motorola’s 2025 series of Edge-line smart phones.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: Key features to anticipate
Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 60 Fusion will be fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The device will also allow for microSD expansion up to 1TB. On the software front, it will operate on Hello UI, built on Android 15, right out of the box. The smartphone will incorporate AI-powered functionalities such as “Catch Me Up,” which summarizes notifications, as well as tools for text transcription, translation, and summarization. Besides Motorola’s integrated AI features, the phone will also bring in Google’s AI capabilities, including “Circle to Search” and “AI Magic Eraser” within Google Photos.
The Edge 60 Fusion will feature a 6.7-inch curved display that has Pantone validation, a 1.5K resolution, Gorilla Glass 7i for protection, and a peak brightness of up to 4500 units. Its camera configuration will consist of a 50-megapixel (Sony LYT 700C) main sensor, complemented by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens with macro functionality. On the front, there will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera capable of 4K video recording.
This device will house a 5,500mAh battery, which supports 68W wired fast charging. Furthermore, Motorola has assured that the smart phone will come with an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.
